About the Role

• Guide members in using gym equipment safely and correctly, demonstrating proper exercise techniques.
• Develop and recommend fitness routines tailored to members’ fitness levels and individual goals.
• Monitor gym activities to ensure equipment is used safely and the fitness area remains clean and organised.
• Provide guidance on exercise techniques, warm-ups, cool-downs, and general fitness practices.
• Conduct fitness assessments and monitor members’ progress where appropriate.
• Ensure gym equipment is in good working condition and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Encourage member engagement by providing friendly, professional, and supportive service.
• Assist with fitness activities, wellness programmes, and other recreational initiatives as required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the management team.

About You

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of fitness training, exercise techniques, and the safe use of gym equipment.
• Ability to guide individuals with different fitness levels and goals.
• A friendly, approachable, and service-oriented attitude.
• Strong awareness of gym hygiene, equipment safety, and fitness facility standards.
• Physically fit, energetic, and passionate about health and wellness.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
• A recognised fitness instructor or personal training certification is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a gym, fitness centre, or wellness facility is preferred.
