About the Role

We are currently seeking a Room Attendant to join our pre-opening team at Manhattan Grand Hotel. This role is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort in guest rooms, playing a central part in delivering the seamless guest experience that defines Manhattan Grand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and service guest rooms and corridors to the Hotel's brand standards, within established time and productivity targets.
  • Make beds, change linen, and replenish guest amenities, toiletries, and mini-bar items in accordance with Hotel procedures.
  • Conduct thorough dusting, vacuuming, and bathroom sanitation to ensure consistently high hygiene and presentation standards.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Handle Lost & Found items in accordance with Hotel procedures, ensuring accurate logging and secure handover.
  • Restock the housekeeping trolley with linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies at the start and end of each shift.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional items or services within guest rooms.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect for guest privacy at all times when servicing occupied rooms.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including correct handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
  • Ensure compliance with the Hotel's brand standards, grooming guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures.

About You

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Room Attendant or Housekeeping Attendant, preferably within an upscale or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining consistently high presentation standards.
  • Sound understanding of cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and safe chemical handling.
  • Good physical stamina, with the ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Trustworthy and discreet, with respect for guest privacy and confidentiality.
  • Basic communication skills in English sufficient for guest interaction and reporting.
  • Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
